Sr. Reliability Engineer

Description:

As

a Sr. Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability

of Keithley products from development to end of life. You will work with

diverse multi-functional teams and drive product quality/reliability

improvements across all Keithley product lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Workclosely with electrical, mechanical and software design teams to achieve high productquality/reliability through the new product introduction process

  • Fieldfailure analysis

  • Riskanalysis; example FMEA

  • Designreviews and design for reliability

  • Perform gapanalysis and develop action plans to close the gaps

  • Create and implement preventativemeasures

  • Problemsolving with multi-functional teams to implement containment, identification ofroot causes and provide permanent countermeasures.

Qualifications:

Thesuccessful candidate will possess the following combination of education andexperience:

MinimumRequirements:

  • Bachelor orMaster of Science degree in Engineering or similar discipline

  • Mastery inReliability/Quality Engineering concepts (Physics of Failure, FMEA, Fault Tree,Parts Count Perdition, etc.)

  • Familiaritywith organizational compliance / auditing (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001)

  • 5 years ofexperience in Reliability/Quality Engineering technical role, or equivalentwork experience

  • Strongstatistical analysis skills (sampling, trending, charting, etc.)

  • Strong Excelskills (pivot tables, analysis of large data sets, look-up tables, creation ofcharts, automation of reports, etc.)

  • Strongwritten and verbal communications skills

  • Strongleadership skills – leading projects or teams

Desired:

  • ASQCertified Reliability Engineer, ASQ Certificate Quality Engineer, Six SigmaBlack-belt

  • Familiaritywith database management
