Hyland Intern, Technical Support in westlake, Ohio


The Technical Support Intern is responsible for assimilating themselves to the culture, values and processes of Hyland Software. They will learn OnBase modules and help with contacting customers to gauge customer satisfaction.

  • Contact customers as designated by their Team Leader to gauge customer satisfaction

  • Learn how to effectively utilize the internal applications required for everyday use: HSIDB, Mindshare and Ceros

  • Work closely with Technical Support teams to ensure proper understanding of solutions, designs and implementations, in addition to reviewing, updating, and executing support issues

  • Expand on knowledge of basic troubleshooting skills and tools by shadowing and receiving instruction from their Team Leader, Manager or Senior Manager

  • Develop an awareness of customer issue troubleshooting and resolution

  • Create appropriate documentation for assigned projects

  • Actively participate in Technical Support events


  • Currently enrolled in an educational institution

  • Interest in software and technology

  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams

  • Ability to effectively use troubleshooting and technical skills

  • High level of professionalism and personal conduct

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Understanding of Microsoft operating systems

  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
