Nestle EDI - Business Systems Analyst in Solon, Ohio

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and increasing Nestle USA Business to Business (B2B) partnerships using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with customers, distributors, brokers, and third party exchanges. This position will also be involved in analyzing and resolving 1st Level EDI production support issues and supporting ad-hoc EDI customer service requests. This person will fulfill the role of a subject matter expert from a business and system perspective. This will include learning and understanding the Nestl system landscape and the associated business processes, to determine how best to integrate the various trading partners.

This position requires excellent communication, analytical skills, and accountability for quality of efforts and deliverables. The individual in this position will work closely with the Nestl USA Supply Chain teams, Nestl USA Customer Service, Nestl USA LGO (IS/IT), and EDI customers, distributors, brokers, and third party exchanges. Technologies that are used include EDI and SAP. Some travel maybe required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Leading and managing the implementation of EDI between various customers, distributors, brokers, third party exchanges, and Nestl SAP.

Responsible for maintenance and production support, helping to resolve any EDI issues between Nestl USA and the EDI customers, distributors, brokers, and third party exchanges.

Assist various functional teams in the scoping, designing, and translating business requirements into functional specifications as well as testing prior to implementation.

Support business transitions and projects.

Support continuous improvement projects.

Ability to analyze and interpret business and systems requirements for EDI customers, distributors, brokers, and third party exchanges.

Lead multiple projects simultaneously that can span across functional areas and businesses.

Shift will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST or 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST.

Maintain, improve and increase Nestle USA EDI partnerships with customers, distributors, brokers, and third party exchanges.

Lead and manage EDI implementations between Nestle USA and customers/distributors

Resolve production support issues and support ad-hoc EDI customer service requests.

Support business transitions and projects.

Support continuous improvement projects.

Support B2B/Technology Data Analytics Projects and new Nestle USA Supply Chain initiatives.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

Analysis, determination of requirements, development of specifications, testing and implementation of new EDI Partnerships.

Management of EDI Trading Partner Implementations.

Coordination with Nestle Supply Chain teams, Nestle Customer Service, Nestle Sales, and Nestle LGO (IS/IT).

Communication with Customers and Business Partners.

Analyze and resolve production issues.

Able to multi task simultaneously across various projects.

Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies.

Education Level: A Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Ideal candidate would have supply chain and/or systems analysis experience

Strong working knowledge of EDI and SAP.

SKILLS:

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Detail-orientated and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

Effective communicator with both technical and business audience.

Flexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; ability to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously. Excellent time management abilities.
