Oracle Senior Director of Product Management (RETAIL vertical) in Independence, Ohio
Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience preferred.

CX Industry Product Strategy and Product Management Sr. Director is a senior position in the Oracle CX Industry Team focusing on the Retail Vertical. The candidate will work with various product managers, developers, partners, analysts, customers, and internal Oracle team members to develop, manage and present Oracle CX Industry solutions. The candidate will convey industry expertise, industry strategy, industry innovations, messaging and sales and service support for cross product industry solutions. The candidate must be able to work with C-Level executives to position Oracle's unique capabilities, strategy and differentiators. This senior leader will also work with the product development teams across cloud and on-premise applications to deliver industry solution roadmaps within and across a variety of Oracle Assets.

Creation of Retail Industry Solutions leveraging Oracle CX capabilities from all cloud capabilities including Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Service and Social solutions.
Define roadmap and key requirements to support Retail customers including:
Identify and Articulate Platform Solution Requirements across CX to support cross-cloud requirements
Work with industry Product Management and Marketing teams within Oracle
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Must have experience crafting and evangelizing product messages, developing creative product marketing content and comfortable presenting to customers and in front of large audiences at conferences
CRM and/or Customer Experience Solutions, product and industry knowledge and marketing experience are essential.
Reference management and grooming for creation of high leverage go-to-market materials
Sales Support for Key CX Customer working in direct and indirect sales situations.
Ability to manage and support blogger and analyst relationships and develop leadership positions for Oracle CX Solutions
- Skills & Qualities *
Experience in onPremise and SaaS solutions and experience working for one of the following types of vendors is preferred: SAP, Microsoft, SFDC, CRMOD & Oracle CX Applications
Experience in the Retail industry with specialty in customer experience or CRM business or technology roles.
8 years of enterprise software experience and at least 5 years experience in Product Mgmt, Retail CRM strategy / Software Consulting, Business Analyst, or similar role
Experience converting customer feedback and core needs into a functional design
Logical, analytical, innovative, conceptual thinker
Ability to develop and present business cases to peers and senior management
Good writing and presentation skills- prior experience in writing design documents, application specifications will be helpful
Good team player and collaborator, especially in virtual teaming environments
Ability to influence others
Self-Starter able to deliver high output with great quality
5 years of industry relevant experience
Education: BA/BS degree, MBA preferred, or Related Work Experience
