Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Leads experienced consulting teams on challenging projects; works on significant and unique issues. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of customer organizations. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Resolves very complex customer escalations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions. 10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience. Management or team leadership experience preferred. Reporting to the Head of Consulting ArchitecturePractice this is a strategic role that bridges solution and data architecturefunctions to provide our key customers with architecture driven strategicadvice and guidance on Oracle (OFSAA - Oracle Financial Services AnalyticApplications) solutions and adoption. This role would also focus on scalingand maturing the solution/data architecture skills within the OFSAA consultingbusiness.
Responsible for providing solution and data architectureguidance to key Financial Services customers, this role brings together deep consulting/industry experiencerelated to deploying analytic applications for Financial Services Industrycombined with a strong product knowledgeto be a trusted advisor to our customers in their digitaltransformations.
The Enterprise Architect will focus on Solutionand Data Architecture across multiple solution domains and will be responsiblefor bringing elements from those domains together into a feasible customersolution. The Architect will ensure that the solution and data architecture andOracle solution deployment and consumption plans of our customers aligns withthe roadmaps established by Product Management.
He/she will play a critical role across thecustomer life cycle especially of large transformation programs for Tier 1customers by providing inputs through the land, adopt, expand and renew phasesof the customer lifecycle working with other related Oracle teams.
He/she will engage with and provide inputs to,the Consulting functional and technical practices, and across key initiatives,that improve consulting delivery capabilities and maturity. Further, he / she willprovide feedback to the Product teams.
Contributes to the achievement of relevantterritory consulting revenue target. Typically deployed for specified periodsof time across Tier 1 customer segment to maximize solution value, demandgeneration and license/consulting consumption.
Architect, design, and present an array ofOFSAA based solutions to address complex business issues across both active andprospective customers
Understandcustomer s data architecture/landscape and needs. Provide detailed guidance androad map on how the OFSAA data model, data foundation and applications can beconsumed and rolled out to meet complex business needs.
Interface with our prospects and customers tounderstand their business and technical requirements, their expectations andplans and assess the feasibility and fit for Oracle solutions.
Strategize with prospects to architect awinning solution based on a variety of criteria, including business objectives,functionality, scalability, future-proofing, and cost.
During the initial phases of the customerlifecycle, articulate and discuss the full portfolio and where relevant relatedOracle suite s capabilities and underlying architecture.
Partner with our sales and consulting deliveryteams to provide support for pre/post sales activities, such as productdemonstrations, webinars and/or presentations, solution designs, proofs ofconcept, total cost of ownership, guidance during implementations etc.
Provide strategic guidance on productdirection, feature usefulness, and applicability to customers and OFSAAconsulting teams post-sale to implement, expand and adopt the architectedsolution.
Translate complex business concepts to easilyunderstood value discussions which address both business and technical driversand client benefits.
Facilitate effective architecture governancethrough workshops and strategic conversations with customers and internalteams, articulating best practices and providing actionable inputs ondeploying, integrating and consuming our data foundation and applications.
Interfacewith the Product management/Product marketing/Engineering teams to representservices in strategic meetings and initiatives, while staying abreast ofproduct roadmaps and ensuring complementary services offerings accompanyproduct releases and product campaigns.
Provide guidance on product direction, featureusefulness, and customer applicability in conjunction with the OFSAA Architectfrom the technical and functional consulting practices.
Collaborate with Oracle account team inmanaging relationships from account plans through to customer becoming areference in the role of an industry solution expert and as a trusted advisor
Coach and mentor other architects towardshigher skill levels and productivity, subject matter expertise andfunctional/solution architecture skills.
Engage with key customer executives to provideinputs and targeted assistance in select projects to ensure customer success.
Qualifications / Skills
Minimum of 15 years ofprogressive financial services consulting/technology deployment experience in adynamic, innovative environment with a large financial institution, softwarevendor or consulting organization.
Ideal candidate will have a strong combination ofbusiness and technical skills with deep domain expertise infinancial services analytics and data management.
Have managed/played a *lead solution ordata architect role in large transformational programs across multiple domainsof Risk, Finance & Performance Management, Financial Crime andCompliance. *
Experiencewith Oracle products (OFSSA, EBS, Hyperion/ DRM, OBIEE, FUSION etc.) highlydesirable.
Knowledge of and experience applying enterprisearchitecture frameworks(e.g. Zachman Framework, The Open GroupArchitecture Framework (TOGAF), Oracle Enterprise Architecture Framework etc.)
Financial services software product based and customsolution implementation experience
Expert indatamanagement, data architecture and design. Ability to learn, articulate andmap customer needs to the OFSAA data model and provide guidance to customers onhow to roll out OFSAA solutions and architecture.
Strong Big Data andFinancial ServicesAnalyticsexperience and knowledge of latest trends in the market
Proven experience of presenting to and engagingwith C-level and other Senior Executives and successfully conveying andsecuring buy in on key messaging and positioning,

Ability to operate at senior levels withclients and internal stake holders
Graduatedegree in technology, engineering (preferably Computer science) or otherdisciplines with relevant experience. Masters or post graduate education is aplus.
Ability to travel 50-70%some of which will be global in nature.
