The Sr Staff Software Architect – Fusion Run is the gatekeeper for all implementations into the Oracle Fusion environment. This role owns and is accountable for the evaluation, transition and migration of all changes entering the environment and the effective education of the Run team to support these changes. This role ensures effective coordination of the various environments including upgrades and patching.
Provides professional architecture services in design, build, modification of software
Makes independent contributions to projects based on functional experience
Works independently on moderately complex projects/problems
Contributes effectively to the collective team effort (e.g. offers ideas, solutions, and resources)
Demonstrates continual success in performing more complex projects that require both seasoned technical skills and judgment
Participates in domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals
Assists in the analysis, design, and development of a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint
Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level, aligning architectural requirements with software development strategy
Supports and participates in developing policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
Participates in the EA business-wide and domain’s architecture Governance process
Researches and evaluates emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities, providing recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing and deployment
Demonstrate knowledge of business' structure (P&Ls) and the interplay of functions to support business goals; demonstrate knowledge of the business products, key processes, suppliers, customers and market/competitors
Collaborates with project management on reporting project status, issues, risks and benefits
Meets with project leaders and software development Leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Computer/Software Engineering or related field
Minimum of 13 years IT systems support or leadership experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience across all modules within Oracle ERPsEssential Requirements:
