The Functional Data Integration Specialist with end-to-end vision, use logic and a sense of order to see how a functional design translates to physical systems. Job Description

Data and Analytics professionals define strategies, develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, processing and management of information from one or more sources, and the subsequent delivery of information to audiences in support of key business processes.

Data Integration professionals develop deep Data Integration skills to support Accenture's data and analytics agendas, including skills such as ETL, Informatics, and data migration.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities: Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside. Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of overall experience

Well versed in writing SQLs in Oracle/Teradata Databases

Hands on experience in data profiling and mapping integration transformation rules

Maps data flows and/or interfaces for impacted business processes

Documents source to target mappings

Define pseudo-code transformation rules and data quality rules for target metrics and derived attributes

Good understanding of relational and dimensional modeling concepts

Experience in creating/updating the Data Models

Ability to understand technical/data mapping gaps/issues and translate them into business/functional issues (and vice versa)

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to Informatica (PWC or IDQ)

Experience with IBM InfoSphere Data Architect

Experience with coordination between teams and resources
