GP Sandy, a division of GP Strategies engages a wide variety of professionals to design and develop performance improvement/marketing programs for the Automotive OEMs.

Automotive Sales/Product Trainer

GP Sandy, a Division of GP Strategies currently is in need for an Automotive Sales/Product Trainer to lead the delivery of training, including product, sales process and vehicle launch training. The trainer will work within a regional territory to deliver training in dealership and in market meetings. The Automotive Sales Trainer will be responsible for establishing credibility with dealership management and customer facing dealer personnel. This requires a well-prepared professional who has a track record of delivering clear, and accurate of information in an engaging and enthusiastic manner. This is a full time, salaried position with benefits.

The ideal candidate brings the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years automotive retail sales and/or excellent facilitation, presentation and coaching skills.

  • A passion for demonstrating and presenting vehicle product information to dealer personnel.

  • Outstanding ability to initiate and maintain strong working relationships with dealer personnel. Can bring strong leadership skills and desire to change dealership culture.

  • Computer literacy, time management and scheduling skills.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Ability to travel throughout the region up to 75%. Overnight travel required

Must be able to satisfy requirements for background check, MVR and drug screen.

Must currently reside or be willing to relocate to either the Cleveland, Detroit or Columbus metro areas. No relocation is offered with this position.
