Asset Based Lending Business Development Officer
Develops and maintains profitable customer relationships within a targeted market segment by coordinating all sales and service efforts.
Serves as the point person in determining the prospect's needs and meeting them through the seamless delivery of the bank's products, services and associated resources.
Develops profitable customer relationships within a targeted market segment by coordinating all sales and service efforts.
Responsible for ensuring the optimizing of all customer relationships which entails developing revenue growth through generation and cross selling of all applicable bank products including deposits, loans, and other services in all Huntington segments to customers.
Possesses proficiency in credit fundamentals and is be able to determine the appropriate risks on new and prospective customers and transactions so that all relationships are entirely in strategic alignment with the risk profile of the bank, including all front-end guidance.
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum of 5 + years of ABL experience
Other Traits and Characteristics:
Experience in direct calling on bank prospects and centers of influence.
Advanced sales, negotiation, and communication skills required.
Credit training and/or experience required. Formal credit training preferred.
In depth knowledge of all Bank products and continual development of product expertise required.
Must have excellent customer service, and be highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional demeanor.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up.
