The Salvation Army of the Syracuse Area ADAS Clinical Supervisor in Cleveland, Ohio
This position functions as the supervisor of the IOP and Detox programs with overall responsibility for program development, service delivery and treatment outcomes.
Ensure that clinical staff complete progress notes in an appropriate and timely manner in order that billing may be successfully completed.
Ensure documentation support and data management functions are complete and submitted to the billing specialist.
Oversee screening and intake process assuring substance abuse services are fully and appropriately utilized - 85% capacity in IOP and minimum 8 clients per day in Detox.
Conduct weekly supervision meetings with assigned staff.
Assure compliance with the certification standards established by OHMAS/CARF.
Collaborate with local service agencies to build an effective continuum of care for chemically dependent adults.
In service training of issues that become evident during QA/QI process and staff supervision.
Apprise Manager of A.D.A.S. and/or Executive Director of pertinent information relative to program.
Other duties as requested by Manager of A.D.A.S. and/or Executive Director.
MA, MS, BA, BS or Associates Degree in Human Services preferred. High School graduate mandatory.
Must possess a current state independent license in chemical dependency counseling or social work (LPC, LISW, LICDC).
Three or more years with a provider of relevant services, including one year of staff supervisory experience required.
