Responsible for the creation of external communications strategies/ programs, including media relations, the speakers', bureau, and develops messaging for the Bank's stakeholders and the wider public.*
An Intern may:
Draft communications and short articles for internal and external audiences
Assist with social media components of the Bank’s outreach efforts through research and tweeting key messages
Support and participate in Bank events and promotions
Pitch national and regional media proposals and respond to media inquiries
Requirements for Business Support Internships:
Currently a sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering, Business Administration, Journalism, Media Relations, Public Affairs or a related area
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Analytical experience through school projects or internships
Computer/technical skills required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and have ability to multitask
Ability to work both in a group setting and on an individual basis
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Candidates interviewed will be required to complete a writing sample
