Job Title: Proofreader
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports To: Supervisor or Manager

Responsible for review and approval of documentation and records.
Duties and Responsibilities: This list is not comprehensive but meant to represent the most common or important duties of the position. Other duties are required and/or assigned
Verify accuracy and completeness of all manufacturing device history records
Make sure all part numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, other pertinent information, and all paperwork correspond with the order request and are accurate and appropriate
Make sure all labels contain the appropriate and accurate information regarding part numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, and other pertinent information corresponding with the production order
Review paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and legibility
Review labels for accuracy, completeness, and legibility
Maintain quality and efficiency standards
Other duties as assigned.
HS Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, analyze and interpret engineering drawings, general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
