Position Summary The purpose of this position is to ensure the physical inventory matches the computer inventory. This position is accountable for handling all documents pertaining to the shipping and receiving of products as directed by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed the requirements of internal and external customers at all times such as: assist in directing union work force, answer phones and relay messages to supervisors, notify buyers when receiving discrepancies occur, audit outbound product as needed.

  • Provide support in maintaining current, accurate records of the Distribution Center inventory and organize product for productive utlilization of space: slot moves, adjustments, maintenance.

  • Assist Operations in monitoring proper product rotation and make corrections as necessary.

  • Perform cycle counts and reserve checks to ensure an accurate inventory.

  • Complete all assignments in a timely manner including reprocess loads, perform pallet combines, maintain aisle and slot location labels, and/or researching discrepancies.

  • Prepare paperwork and reports to provide a complete, accurate record of production activities; enter receiving documents, adjust purchase orders as needed, update department metrics board.

  • Provide back-up support to other Distribution Center personnel as needed such as perform selection audits and fill in for auditors, train new support members on office functions.

  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed and assigned.
