Penske Senior Financial Analyst in Beachwood, Ohio


Position Summary:

Provides analysis and metrics for financial core processes and is responsible for knowledge of all systems to support our field operations locations. Will have responsibility for more than one site. Position will provide financial operational planning and analytical support for various processes as well as conduct operational reviews. Associate will provide accounting and analytical support to various functions and act as a liaison with other functional areas to achieve results.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Articulate the value proposition to the field and to our customers by identifying the critical metrics that should be measured to determine Penske's performance.

  • Ensure that risks are properly evaluated and mitigated.

  • Effectively plan and forecast business results.

  • Effectively analyst and interpret financial results. Compare to the proforma or business plan and understand the relationship it has to P&L and the impact from scope and volume changes and inefficiencies.

  • Ensure sound operational decisions by providing financial analysis that considers all variables of the operations and the implications to the P&L.

  • Lead and direct the process for identifying, specifying, and developing innovative financial strategies using PMT and LEAN principles in order to determine the optimum financial solution between leasing and buying.

  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor


-3-7 years financial analytics experience required

-Bachelors in Finance/Accounting required

-Strong analytical skills required

-Independent problem solving skills required

-Strong oral and written communication skills required

-Advanced use of Microsoft Excel required

-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
